Outside General Counsel
Robert represents individuals and entities with their outside general counsel needs, which he uses a catch-all term for responsibilities related to legal compliance, contract management, risk management, corporate governance, dispute management, business strategy, employment matters, and intellectual property. These services include:
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., navigating industry-specific regulations, employment laws, securities laws, intellectual property laws, and more);
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating all forms of commercial contracts, including related to joint ventures, real estate acquisitions and leases, and contracting for services, employment, sales, production, supply, distribution, consulting, intellectual property licensing, financing, marketing, sponsorship, and other significant business matters;
Identifying legal risks and advising on strategies to mitigate those risks;
Advising on matters related to corporate structure, board governance, shareholder issues, and related areas;
Serving as litigation counsel for various types of business disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, and employment-related disputes, and manage pre-litigation strategies;
Acting as a strategic advisor and providing input on major business decisions from a legal perspective;
Advising on employment matters, including hiring, firing, workplace policies, employee disputes, and compliance with labor laws; and
Protecting intellectual property through registrations, licensing, and enforcement.
